Commercial Drivers License - Class B with Passenger and Bus Driver endorsements A Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) allows a driver to operate a single vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of more than 26,001 pounds, or to tow a vehicle with a GVWR of up to 10,000 pounds. Common vehicles that can be operated with a Class B CDL include school buses, dump trucks, and straight trucks.
